Mt. Grant General Hospital is an eligible site for the HRSA Nursing Scholarship and Education Loan Repayment Program.
The Nursing Scholarship Program is a selective program of the U.S. Government that helps alleviate the critical shortage of nurses currently experienced by certain types of health care facilities by helping needy students complete their nurse training. In exchange for the scholarship, upon graduation, the newly minted nurses work at these facilities for at least 2 years.

Mt. Grant General Hospital is proud to be an approved site of the National Health Service Corp (NHSC) for Critical Access Hospital (CAH) and Rural Health Clinic (RHC).
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) helps bring health care to those who need it most. Since 1972, NHSC has been building healthy communities by connecting primary health care providers to areas of the United States with limited access to care.
NHSC offers loan repayment and scholarships to individuals interested in serving in one of the NHSC-approved sites. Primary care providers can pay off student loans while serving in communities with limited access to health care. Students pursuing careers in primary care can receive scholarships for serving communities in need upon graduation and completion of training.
