Mt. Grant General Hospital has one opening for a Full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant. The HR Assistant provides administrative support including hiring, recruitment, compensation, organizational effectiveness, leaves of absence, payroll, staffing activities and creating accurate documentation for a variety of human resource actions. This position reports to the human resources manager.
Ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, the ability to interact with tact and diplomacy, possesses organizational skills, a well-developed sense of urgency, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Please see job description for list of job duties.
Any combination in training, education, and experience that would provide the knowledge and abilities. A typical way to gain the required knowledge and ability is:
Possession of a high school diploma or the equivalent AND
Two (2) years of responsible office administrative or technical support experience, preferably in a personnel setting OR an equivalent combination of training and experience AND
Per NRS 449.174 and NRS 200.5091, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks.
