The testing performed on specimens help physicians diagnose, treat and monitor disease.  The department has a complete quality assurance program that monitors and evaluates the quality of testing in different stages (pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic).  The department participates in a proficiency testing program and is regulated by CLIA and the State of Nevada.

Hours of operation:  5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
All other hours are covered by an on-call technologist
