The Respiratory Therapy Department performs many tasks they work in the Emergency Department, Clinic, Long Term Care, and Acute Floor. They have several different duties some of the out patient duties are as follows. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact the department at any time. Any test that is over $ 250.00 needs to have a prior authorization from your insurance company. Know your insurance, if you do not know then ask your ordering physicians office to make sure if you need a prior authorization or not this is your (the patients) responsibility to know. Insurance Company’s are different so check to make sure you are covered for any procedure. The Respiratory Therapy Department provides 24 hour coverage.
