Definition of position: Under general supervision, the registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, directs, and evaluates in accordance with the authorized scope of practice specified in the Nurse Practice Act and performs supervisory duties of lower level staff. The registered nurse is responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel, as directed, and may act as the charge nurse. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction.
Experience and Training:
Possess or ability to possess, and maintain a current RN license in the State of Nevada AND
Maintain current certification in CPR AND
Participate in annual mandatory training AND
Maintain current certification in PALS and ACLS required for working in acute, emergency room, operating room AND
Receive certification in TNCL once during employment AND
Per NRS 449 and NRS 200, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks.
